We often hear that people find it difficult to find ‘plus size’ vintage clothes, or vintage clothes in any other size than tiny. Yet we believe vintage should be for anyone, that weaing vintage should be inclusive. We have created this page to make shopping easier for our curvy or full-figured customers. All our vintage clothing in larger sizes all together in one place.
How do we define full-figured vintage? Here you’ll find clothes which are 39” bust and/or, 31” waist and/or 41” hips or larger, which equates approximately to size UK 14/ US 12 / EUR 44 and up.
A short purple houndstooth wool jersey jacket by Fulton of London circa 1960s. This patterned jacket has shaped panels to fit the bust and simple long sleeves. The front buttons up with four pearly grey replacement buttons up to a notched lapel collar with a plain purple trim. There is a squared and buttoned false pocket flap at each side with a plain purple trim. The houndstooth pattern is a tight light grey, olive green and bright purple knit.

Excellent vintage condition. Several small moth holes have been expertly repaired (see image 4), with one tiny hole remaining at the back (see images). The front four buttons appear to be later replacements for the originals, which likely matched the pocket buttons. The label shows some discolouration.

The cuffs and front placket fasten with small misty clear buttons. The long sleeves finished with buttoned cuffs and two lined square patch pockets adorn the front. Olive green 1980s double-breasted jacket with exaggerated proportions and over-sized collar. The sleeves are pleated and puffy 3/4 length with shaped cuffs. An integral belt from the lower back panel ties at the front. A large box-pleat in the upper back add to the puffiness and create additional room for movement. Sport a bit of British heritage in this single-breasted blazer jacket by Liberty of London. Circa 1980s to 1990s, this navy wool jacket with notched lapel collar and padded shoulders bears two flap pockets. Cream lining inside to match the three opalescent off-white buttons which fasten at the front. Two more opalescent buttons decorate the sleeves. Has a white floral liberty label.

A mid-century-does-victorian yoked winter nightgown and bed jacket set. Made using a 1940s – 1950s sewing pattern but could have been made later. The inside of this nightgown and the bed jacket are beautifully finished and faced with flat-felled and french seams, no a raw edge or overlock in sight!
A perfect nightdress to keep cosy during the winter months.

Single-breasted pillar-box red and white striped blazer by Needene circa 1940s. This red wool jacket has a 1cm stripes of cream cotton thread. The shoulders are darted and padded with small wadding shoulder-pads which are concealed under the lining. The has something between a notched and clover label cut from a single piece of fabric with no seams on the lapel. The inside fully lined in red with a striped v-shaped panel below the collar mounted by a black and white printed 'Needene' label and loop for hanging. There is an oblong pocket at the front left hem. The front fastens with neatly bound buttonholes and four white pearly crazed buttons.

White with front and back yoke, navy blue belt loops and a pointed lapel collar this vintage dress fastens at the front with medium four-hole navy blue buttons.
