On Trend Vintage: Pastels
Spring-Summer 2014 catwalks were awash with pastels from John Galliano, Burberry Prorsum, Badgley Mischka, Mulberry, Calvin Klein, DKNY and Marc Jacobs amongst other. I'm here to tell you that you don’t need to spurge you months rent to jump on the bandwagon, you can be both 'of the season' and vintage at the same time. I'm starting with sharing a selection of vintage clothes fit for this seasons pastels trend.

Pastel vintage womens clothes
This is a classic blouse with Peter Pan collar. Produced sometime after the early 1970s but influenced by peter pan collared blouses of the 1950s. The shoulders are gathered to great a feminine rouche detail at the front and the loose fit sleeves are gathered into a slim cuff. The peach fabric has a tiny crosshatch texture and tiny decorative peach buttons are hidden under a concealed button placket at the front.
